The salmon started popping up along Tiburon Boulevard last week. Most of us were perplexed. Where and when were they coming? All was revealed several days ago when the poster went up at Blackies Pasture. Over 2,000 baby salmon will be released under the “Kiss & Release” program of the Tiburon Salmon Institute. As mentioned in the poster, it is free, and kids are welcome. This is just one more example of why living in Marin County is so exceptional.
